Proceed To Change

The quiet town of Timper sailed through the wind as the lights blurred into non-existence, the people scurried like mice through the holes of their homes, domed in by the cascading light and swallowed by the submerged world around them. For Timper was the town to be chosen, the town that lived only for the freshness of the winter air, the dribbling sweat of the summer rashes and the fallen shapes that pretended to be leaves, Timper was full of souls and figures, marooned together into a blend of cultures and motions. Like any normal town, the streams were strong and they were quiet, the people moaned and the people wept, but the normality around them was soon to significantly change, as clichéd as it was, everything always changes and those beautiful, fragile changes make us those that we are. A quiet boy makes a loud noise and he becomes a global figure, a loud girl remains silent and she forgets the atrocities of the beaming lights that once consumed her, changes mould us. The blink of an eye so precious will light up the world into darkness, for those in Timper were to be seen and not to be heard, not to be listened to and to be demanded upon, to gruel through the world like the world once growled upon them and to forget their past lives, because that didn't matter now, the changes mattered more than their past. A women, pregnant, falls. Lightning strikes a shy man like he's a Saint. The world around them was everything and nothing, they yearned for the past but massaged into the future because the past wasn't so glorious as it may have been. They lie and they learn, and we fight and we groan for the hunger of a life that is full of peace and happiness and love and smiles and glory but that is not life and it never was. The town was alive and it was dead, like a flower rising and falling as the boot crushes it's perplexed flowers into nothing but a reminder of what was, the secret of the flower that never was - only a few would remember the stunning frame of that yellow bubbled head, like only a few will remember you, but no-one would remember Timper.

Today was a normal day, but that depends on what you consider normal being. For you, normal is family arguments, decision making, anger, love, sadness and loneliness mixed into a bowl of ripely boring conversations with a sprinkling of butterflies as that one person you always loved glances your way, and of course, things were the same today. Normal. What is the world if human lives are now normal? We should be exploring, captivating, achieving but as you sit deadly into the oblivion that awaits, notice how your life as a human, on Earth, is being dropped away, like a kid dropping his hook on the balloon that once was his wonder, the balloon floats away and continues repetitively floating upwards without no goals or aspirations but just to endlessly flutter into the boring shades of blue that are above. That's how life worked for those in Timper and everyone else in the world, until they proceeded to change.

Pop. There goes the balloon.

Please understand that Proceed to Change will be slower to begin with, the introduction of the characters and the buildup for the end will happen for the first 5 or so chapters, then we'll begin.
