Synopsis:

Follow 9 people, all of which are connected by one way or another, on the long journey of finding themselves. Cameron "Cammie" Fremont's parents were murdered when she was 8. Since the she's lived with her Godparents, Pastor William Gerald and Patricia Anne Gerald, and their three sons.

William Gerald was in love with Cameron's mother and feels as though her father stole her mother way from him. He resents Cammie because he feels as though if things we different she would've been his child.

Patricia Anne Gerald always wanted a daughter. Though she got one in the most tragic of ways she can't help but be happy. She doesn't care that two people lost their lives and that's only reason she has Cammie. The thought scares her.

Marcus, the oldest son is closest to Cammie. She's the only person (besides his lover) who knows he questions his sexuality.

Andrew, the middle child, mimics his father in every way, and because of this hates everything Cammie related.

Darius, the youngest at only eight, is wise beyond his years, but struggles with the concept of how to treat a woman when he see's how his father and brother treat Cammie, and how everyone else does.

Diana, Cammie's best friend, hates to admit it, but is in love with one of the only people who can't stand Cammie. Her god brother Andrew.

Drake, Diana's openly gay brother is attracted to Marcus and vice versa, but has problems with the fact that Marcus hasn't come out to anyone.

Sean, Diana's older cousin, remembers seeing Cammie from the only day he followed his dad to work. He's the son of the man that killed Cammie's biological family, but he finds himself madly in love with the girl he's harboring a huge secret from.
