CHAPTER 7-Girl's Talk

I was awaken by Flynn, asking me to take her to the bathroom because she needs to wee. It was already 5 in the morning, I can hear Katie on her room playing her favorite Maroon 5 album while getting ready to go to work. I went back to bed, I don't want to start my day having a fight with best friend. I took my phone and connect to Katie's wifi. I clicked the Facebook icon and I have several notification and one friend request. I was hoping it was Luke, but it was my accidental friend Jera. I confirmed it and check the notifications, as usual it more of game request. I looked at my profile picture that has been my profile picture for almost a year. I browse the image folder on which one should I upload, I clicked Luke and I's picture on the Mactan bridge. I want to use it as my profile picture and caption it 'the one that got away'. I clicked cancel and choose my against the mirror selfie, it was a fair enough photo of me wearing my island souvenir shirt. After I upload it, I heard the Facebook pop and it was a message from Jera.

"Hi. Are you back in Manila? How's luke?" She typed

"Hi. Yes I'm back. I miss Cebu though" I answered

"How's Luke?" She asked

"I think he's fine. We parted ways when we arrived here. L " I replied.

"Don't forget to invite me on the wedding. TTYL." She said.

What wedding is this girl saying? I send a thumbs up as big as facebook can get me. I went back to my profile, and I have a notification. While browsing my homepage, the notification icon on the bottom page pops. I check it, and it was Aaron commenting on my new profile picture. I clicked it and he commented 'Eye Candy'. I want to reply to his comment but unfortunately, there is no middle finger emoji available. I turned off the wifi and place the iPhone back on the table. I put my hands over Flynn and try my best to put myself to sleep.

The receiving area is a little mess especially with Katie's things. I can't trust Katie when it comes to keeping her things. I picked them all up put it on the hamper and throw it inside her room. I went inside my room to get the dirty clothes, then I discover that the Barbie doll, Aaron got for Flynn is already headless. Flynn probably went crazy and riffs Barbie's head off. Although it wasn't a new news to me, since all of her Barbie dolls are headless. It somehow fears me, that she might grow up being an assassin.

I went out of the room carrying the dirty clothes from the Cebu trip. I put it on the hamper then the shirt from Cebu peeks out. I picked it and put it at the bottom of all the clothes. "You deserved not to be seen, because you have so much memory." I said, looking around.

I went to the kitchen to prepare something for breakfast. I end up cooking the undefeated breakfast trio Eggs, Ham and Bacon. I saw Nana Brit went out of the room, yawning and rubbing her eyes. "No plans for today?" She asked.

"I'm going to Pops later." I said, transferring the bacons to the plate.

I went back to the room, to give my little monster a bath. I can't find my robe, and every mommy know how important robe is when giving a toddler a bath. No choice! I have to bath her without my robe. Little monster is growing up very fast, it was like yesterday when I was carrying her to my arms. I did take my bath after Flynn, since I am already 50 percent wet. I took my favorite shirt from my cabinet, actually it not a shirt it more of a sweater. It's a Cashmere Boxy Dolman sweater from Victoria's Secret, I love it because the mirror tells me that I look good on it, paired it with a denim jeans and my candy colored slippers from S&H.

Standing in front of my parents house, feeling a little bit nervous. I don't have to be nervous, I just went to Cebu and shag a handsome photographer. Oh geez, I just hope that Katie didn't tell that much to my parents. Okey, this is it. I'd better face the fury now. I open the gate and saw mom and dad fixing the faucet on the laundry area.
