Nikki POV
"YAWN!!!" I wake up in my new bed. Excited for a new day. I pick out a black tank top and a blue miniskirt to match. I put them on and run down stairs. What I meet is surprising.
It's Sonic, but he's conversing with a guy I have NEVER seen before. He's a green hedgehog, with blue eyes and he's wearing a leather jacket. (A/N: I wonder who this is .3.)
"Hey Sonic." I say. He turns around and waves.
"Hey Nikki! Come and meet Scourge. He'll be your boyfriend." Wait...........WHAT!!!!!
"Hold up. Your assigning me a boyfriend?" I ask. Sonic nods, and continues.
"Well, I've noticed that some boys can get a little, touchy feely. And I decided, since Scourge has been through Rehab. He could be your boyfriend so other males can back off." Scourge nods in consent. I'm still extremely confused. AN ASSIGNED BOYFRIEND?!?!
"Maybe I was hoping we could go to a concert tonight. Bruno Mars is playing." Scourge says. Oh. My. God. BRUNO MARS!!!!!! (A/N: *absolute fangirl*)
"Sure that sounds cool." I try to say nonchalantly. But it fails.
"Cool, I'll pick you up at 8 then?" Scourge asks.
"Sounds cool. See you then." I say. Scourge nods then leaves. Sonic is obviously happy with the turnout, so I head to Tails house.
~AT TAILS HOUSE~
I knock on the door. There's a little scuffling, but the door opens, revealing an oil-stained Tails.
"Hey Nikki, what's up?" Tails let me in the house and I explained everything.
"Sonic...assigned you...a boyfriend?" Tails asked again. There was something in his voice I couldn't place. Hurt?
"Yeah. And we're going out to see Bruno Mars tonight." I replied. I took a glance at my watch.
"HOLY CRAP! ITS 7:45! I gotta go. Bye Tails!" I ran out of the house.
~Le time skip cause I don't feel like typing how they got there~
"Because you're amazing, just the way you are." Bruno Mars sang out the last notes. And we all cheered.
"Alright! Now who's ready for some KISS CAM!!!!" We cheered even louder. The kiss cam came on and the first people to show up were Scourge and I! I looked at Scourge awkwardly, and blushed. Scourge looked me right in the eye. Closing the gap.
It was like a million fireworks going off at once, it was amazing. Once it ended. We were just staring into each others eyes. All to soon, it was time to go home.
??? POV
"Relax doctor, I've got her in the palm of my hand." I closed the comm link and smirked. The blue rats were going to get a nasty suprise.

Sonic: wow. Who was that?
