---Anthony's P.O.V.---

I just woke up, laying here with my eyes closed.. Not wanting to let the light in.. The usual after sleeping almost 2 days.

I finally forced myself and opened my eyes. Damn, it burns.. I stood myself up, stumbling a little. My mouth was so fucking dry. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water.

The phone was beeping from missed calls, I checked it. '4 missed calls: Dani'
Fuck... She already doesn't trust people. Now what the fuck am I gonna say. I didn't do anything did I? I try to think back.

Last I remember I lied about making a run and told her I had to take a friend money, we finished the date, I came home and shot up. Okay.. She shouldn't know anything then. What am I going to say?

I call flea. No answer. Called Hillel. No answer. Called Jack. No answer. I knew where they were though. I needed to shoot up so bad, but if I have to find Dani I can't be all fucked up.

I washed up a bit and threw on some jeans and a tee so I could leave. I got in the car and drove to the Studio. I walked in, "They're in room B today" said George the one running the studio. "Thanks, George".

I walked into Studio B, they all paused for a moment at the sound of the door opening. Once they realized it was me Flea kinda rolled his eyes and him and Jack went back to messing with their guitars. Hillel was like me, he understood. "Glad to see you join us man" Hillel smiled and hit my arm.

"Hey" I kinda chuckled, "I know I just came in but, I need you guys' help" I said. "What's new?" Flea said upset, "Please, it's nothing big. It's just.. Dani's been calling me a couple days and I know she'll be pissed. Just need to know you guys will back me up and say I was here with you guys rehearsing the whole time"

"Why the fuck should we do that? So you can do it again in 2 days?" Flea turned around, "I know you're pissed. I'm sorry. Just please, I need this. I need her" I said. Hillel looked at me, "I gotcha" he said, "Thank you man" I smiled. "Me too" Jack added, I smiled. "Fine. Whatever" Flea shook his head.

"Thank you guys! I'll be back soon, I gotta go find Dani and see if she'll even talk to me" I said, "Good luck" said Hillel. I nodded and walked back out to my car.

I started to head towards her work first to see if she was there. I went to put my glasses in my middle console, there were needles, spoons, shit everywhere. "Fuck" I mumbled. I rushed around collecting it all throwing it in the glove compartment before pulling up to her work.

I slammed it shut and got out. I walked in, "Hey, Man" the owner said working the bar. "Hey! Hey, uhh I need to talk to Dani. Please. I know it's work but it'll be quick I promise" I said.

"Oh it's fine anyway, She's in the back. You can go on back" he said, "Thanks man" I said walking behind the counter. I got back there and she was doing some dishes.

"Hey" I said, she turned around and looked me. She didn't look too pleased and turned back continuing what she was doing, "Dani, please. Just talk to me. I can explain." I said.

+

She finished the dishes and put her card in the slot to clock out. "Just save your time, Anthony. I've gotta go, my shift is over" she said walking past me. She said bye to people walking out.

We got outside and I grabbed her gently by the arm. I looked into her eyes, "Please..." I begged. She sighed and hung her head, "You have 10 minutes" she said looking up to me. "How about lunch?" I grinned, "Fine" she agreed.

I took her to the local pizza joint and we sat down. "So? Explain" she said, "I swear, I was in the studio with the boys. We got hired for another big gig and it's been stressing us out and we've been in the studio for 2 days trying to perfect it. I know that doesn't excuse me, but we just got carried away and exhausted."

"You could've just answered and told me that." She said, still unhappy looking. "I know, and I'm so sorry. I swear to you I won't let it happen again. It's just a very stressful time for us right now" I said. Which that part I really wasn't lying.

"But you guys are getting even bigger. You're just going to keep getting busier, if it's already doing this to you guys then how is this going to happen?" She said, somehow I was worried about the same thing. But I wasn't going to let it take her from me.

"Love, I swear. I'll never let it happen again, I'll always be here for you. I won't lose you, I honestly.. Love you. Please, just give me another chance?" I begged.

She sat for a minute... "One more. Get it? One. I'm not going to be played like every other guy has done. I'm done with that, famous or not." She said.
"I understand, love. Thank you." I said kissing her hand.

"So you going back to the studio?" She asked. I noticed she kinda avoided the I love you... Maybe she's just not ready for that yet. I did say it super early, it's just.. That's really how I feel.

"Uh, yeah. As soon as we're done here I'll be heading back over there" I said. "Gotcha. Well, I'm really glad things are going well for you guys" she smiled, "Seems like something you all love and can connect with" she continued.

"Yeah, I love it. Sorta our glue that holds us together I guess you could say" I said, "Well I think it's awesome. To have a passion like that" she smiled.

I looked at the time, "Shit. I'm sorry, I gotta get back to the studio. I'm sorry" I said. "No, it's fine. I understand. I'm finished anyway" she said. "You sure?" I asked, "Yeah. Of course" she answered.

I paid the bill and drive her home before heading back to the studio and doing what I really was supposed to be doing all weekend. I'm just so happy she gave me another chance, I just can't screw this up...
