The way he touched me sent shivers down my spine. But no one knew, no one tried to guess. What do you expect a child to do when screaming and crying isn't enough. He stops and I hope that I can finally go to sleep but not for long. I hate nap time, I hate it more when nap time was in his room because sleep never comes. What comes is worse.

I wake up screaming again, from the same nightmare. I can still see his face as clear as day. As if it was just yesterday and I tremble. My brother comes in the room and tries to comfort me but I just push him away. Looking over at my clock I realize it was 5:30am, I might as well get up and make breakfast cause I will not get anymore sleep. I get up and start my shower so it can warm up while I get my things ready for school. After my shower I put on my school uniform and made my way down stairs.

Making eggs, toast, bacon, and pancakes all before 6:30am. I hear all the alarms go off and shuffling around. I smile my life is pretty much normal. My mom comes into the kitchen and gives me a smile, my brother walks in right after.

"You know honey you don't have to cook every day." My mom lectures me.

"Yes she do and you know it mom. Since that stunt you pulled of course we have to make sure you eat properly." My brother chimes in. Which is true, on the anniversary of our dad's death my mom finally thought it was time for us to do the first grave visit in the 12 years. Afterwards she locked herself in her room for seven days without food or water. At the time my step-dad was on a business trip and came home on the seventh night to us trying to break down the door.

"I'm fine now. It won't happen again, that was just a moment of depression but I'm ok now." She says nonchalantly. I roll my eyes at her while we sit down at the table. My step father comes down stairs after we were seated. Mike glares a bit at him when he notice Drake staring lustfully at me. Only Mike knows the truth behind Drake facade.

"Good morning everyone," Drake says and he walk towards my mom and kisses her cheek.

There was a chorus of "Good mornings" as he sat down and started the small talk. From the out side we looked like a normal happy family. But every family has their secrets what I didn't know at the time was how big our secret was.
