They all seem so plain
Wanting some variety
Disliking the sane
Searching for contrast
From that which I've known
I strive for unique
But feel so alone
How simple am I
Ignorance in me
Forcing distinctness
Not letting life be
No different from others
We all want the same
Acting for one part
Playing a silly game
Why can't I be happy
Knowing I'm like you
Thought I could be special
But realizing I'm nothing new
