Before I started living in the tabloids and partying like a rock star, I was just a worker; to be precise I was that guy that just folded the clothes for people at my dad's store.

I always wanted to work there when I was a child, and when I was of age, basically when I turned 18 I started. My dad is that kinda guy who follows the rules and regulations. I remember I wanted to sell ice cream and water in front of our house and he said no because it was child labor but my mentality was "I just want to sell" and make money because the guys played football right in front of our house.so I thought it would have been a good idea. But obviously daddy knows best.

I started working at my dad's store when I turned 18, after school I will go and work till it was closing. I used to enjoy it until my dad hired this new manager, her name was Antonio but we all called her Toni. Her name was already weird enough for a girl and she had this annoying and controlling habit, she literally knew how to annoy everyone at work. i couldn't handle her. i have to put up with my dad and his controlling attitude, having to deal with Toni was something I was definitely not going to add to my to do list.

I will either sit and text when she starts her screaming or I'll just go to my dad's office and use his computer and go online and check the latest news. i normally go on Ghamusement.com to see what's happening in the entertainment industry. I've always loved entertainment news.

I would only watch the evening news because of the last segment. I just couldn't miss it. i hated and still hate the main news so much my mother used that as punishment. Who even does that? loved watching the entertainment news so much I would watch and laugh slapping my thighs so hard it made loud noises, well depends if I was wearing my HnM jeans,

My dad will just give me a straight face when I start the slapping. And I'll say "what! Can't I laugh"? Then he will shake his head and walk away. The reason he gave me that look is because, he knew I was making fun of his friends. Believe me; the clothes they wear to the fashion shows and events are so hideous my dead dog rockie will bark if she saw it.

My dad has never gone wrong at any fashion event. i love seeing him dressing up.it's like a reality show, actually it's like people dressing the Queen. There are no rooms for mistakes .Vanity Mag launches are the most dangerous and scariest for anyone who styles my dad. Let's say if you make one mistake or you talk back when he says something, you could lose your job right there. i had to grow a little older before I could understand his behavior towards that event.

I was told, it was because the editors of that magazine have been on his case ever since he reached stardom and an insider who happens to be a huge fan of my dad told my dad's assistant the dirt.

------------------------------------------

so ever since the news, my dad has always made it an effort to always attend their events' don't know why he does that but I guess everyone has a little bit of pride in them-Go daddy, lol. I've enjoyed working for my dad, it's like a fashion event all the time, all the top celebrities come in the store to say hi to my dad when they are driving pass, sometimes I even get tickets to concerts and etc.

Juliet Mason passes by at least twice a week to check on my dad. Juliet happens to be a top actress and also my God mother, Bruce and I hardly see her because she's always travelling shooting movies, I made a cameo in one of her movies when I was about 10years old, whiles Bruce was trying to memorize the scientific elements. Seeing all this stars everyday made me want to be a huge star.

I'd been trying to get into the modeling scene and I was thinking my dad will just give me the quick links to get into it, but I guess I was wrong. He told me "in life if you want something you go and get it". i got mad and didn't speak to him for like 3 days, but later on he explained everything to me and I understood him. Like I said I'd been trying to get into the modeling scene but was finding it difficult. I made my first modeling debut when I was featured in my dad's summer collection ad campaign. It was so nice shooting with top models and great photographers. That ad was everywhere, on the streets; in the malls, it was basically everywhere that had free space.

but I didn't want to be known for just being the son of Chales Barley. i wanted to be my own man. Finally that day came when one of my dad's partners flew in from Milan to see my dad's collection privately. Mr. Diore had the nicest smell. You literally smell him miles away before he walked in, it was pure heaven. Mr. Diore came into the store and went straight to my dad. They exchanged handshakes and went to the atelier showroom, five minutes later my dad sent Toni to call me. i knocked and went inside and my dad told me to have a seat. He started of by saying "don't get too excited",

I looked at Mr. Diore's face and turned to look at my dad. i nodded. Mr. Diore asked me "how would you like to go to Milan with me" I jumped out of the chair and started screaming "yes, take me out if here" I screamed, my dad started laughing and shaking his head. 'We leave in 2 hours' he said.I was just in shock at first, I felt like my dad just wanted me out of his life, am sure he just had enough of my complains.

But then after Mr. Diore left he called me aside and advised me and told me to follow my dreams and that sometimes in life you have to leave old things behind to achieve new things-blah blah blah, the whole speech thing. i wasn't listening to his long speech all I knew was, I needed to tell Bruce and text my friends what was going on.

i called Bruce and told him what was going on and he was so excited.but you could sense it in voice that he was sad but didn't to want to let that out. i was the only one Bruce had to talk to and share his feelings. Bruce is just older than me by 3 years but we have been best friends ever since I was born,

so me going was deffo going to mess with his smart brain. i texted the rest of my friends and obviously my haters also needed to know what was going on, What better way to spill this info than to post on facebook.i posted a long message and then when I hit send I knew my life was just about to start.-#timetogetmylife.
