Chapter 20

                                    

                                              
Honey's POV
                          
I'm still, completely frozen...Beau...my Beau...
                          
"Honey!" Nattie shakes me and I spring into action. 
                          
"Nattie, I need to get to St.James hospital and quickly!"
                          
"It's okay, I'll let the guys know about this, you do what you have to."
                          
Nattie replies.
                          
I nod apologetically, it wasn't in my intention to leave Nattie alone.
                          
I smile a shaky smile and turn towards the exit .
                          
"Oh and Honey?"
                          
I turn back to face Nattie.
                          
"Yeah?"
                          
"Don't let him go.."
                          
I can't help but smile back at her, my friends know me too well.
                          
I nod once again and run out of the building whilst contemplating on how to get to the hospital.
                          
Getting a taxi makes the most sense but, knowing me, I wouldn't be able to wait for it and do nothing.
                          
"Oh f*** it" I think to myself and decide to run all the way to the hospital. Tears begin to cloud my eyes and I start to regret it, regret it all. Why couldn't I be strong enough to admit my feelings? Now what if he, what if Beau...
                          
Gahh! I can't be thinking like this, I have to stay positive, I wipe my tears on my jacket sleeve but I can't do anything about the lump in my throat. 
                          
I keep running, despite the burning sensation in my legs and that's when I start to hallucinate. 
                          
I mean, I must be hallucinating if I see Beau, completely unharmed, apart from the banana skin on his head, sitting on top of a nearby dumpster. I blink my eyes multiple times and even pinch myself but Beau still remains  there sitting. In fact, he even waves me over. Damn! I must be going completely crazy.
                          
My curiosity gets the better of me and I make my way towards the dumpster. That's when I realise that I am not hallucinating, but Beau is safe and sound right in front of me.
                          
"Beau, you..."
                          
"Yup, I am fine, completely fine" he answers.
                          
"But..." he puts his index finger on my lip.
                          
"Shh, come here" he taps the space next to him on the dumpster, "I'll explain."
                          
He gives me a hand up and I sit next to him.
                          
"You stink" I laugh at Beau, pinching my nose. He gives me a full blast, mega-watt grin back and hugs me unexpectedly.
                          
"Get off me you stinky ape" I laugh as he tackles me into a bear hug.
                          
He pulls me  close and despite the smell of garbage on him and the banana skin still on his head, I still find him outrageously beautiful.
                          
Our laughter stops but the smiles still stay on our faces.
                          
"I was going to attempt to get run over to see how much you care about me. " Beau starts off hesitantly and I can't help the fastening pace of my heart as he continues with a sigh.
                          
I feel the greatest urge to interrupt him with a kiss, but think better of it.
                          
"I think I fell for you the day we met, but was never brave enough to admit it, then I did anything and everything to just make you look at me. I just wanted you look at me now, notice me, anything. "
                          
He did all of that, the serenading, the jokes, the post it notes...all for me?
                          
"I was just about to do this stupid running over thing when Jai stopped me. He realised what I was going to do and made me think about this properly. All I needed to do to see if you care was get one of my friends to prank call you, posing as a nurse, and saying that I had an accident... " he looked at me sheepishly and continued.
                          
This was all a prank, as relieved as I was that Beau was alive, I might strangle him myself for doing that.
                          
"I was going to thank Jai for stopping me making a decision I might have regretted but he decided that he could just push me into the trash to get his thanks  " Beau chuckled, clearly still a bit nervous.
                          
"There's one thing that I don't understand Beau..." I started.
                          
" What is it?"
                          
"Why didn't you just asked me if I liked you in that way...I would have said yes" I said, feeling my cheeks immediately turn red.
                          
Beau smiled a breathtaking smile in return.
                          
"You do?" he murmured.
                          
I moved closer towards him until our foreheads touched.
                          
"I do."
                          
I moved my head closer to his and he cupped my face with one hand using the other to hold my waist. Our breaths mingled and our lips touched. His lips moved in sync with mine and he held me delicately. Then some sort of hidden urgency hit us and it turned more passionate. He is too sexy for his own good. His hand moved up my thigh and he pleaded for entrance, I let him into my mouth and tasted his sweet, hot tongue. He nibbled on my lips, and kissed around my jaw, to the hollow of my breasts, everywhere he kissed and touched seared with heat. He moved up slowly to my collar bone and my breath hitched, he nipped and sucked for a second and then ran his tongue up to my ear and muttered:" You taste good." I grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him in for another kiss, sparks were igniting on my skin. He groaned into my mouth and that  was by far the sexiest sound that I had ever heard and I moaned in return. I pulled away from his face for a second when we were suddenly tilted and thrown into a pile of garbage.
                          
"What the..."
                          
Beau grinned, "I think we have been collected by the dustbin men to be put into the landfill site..." 
                          
"Are you serious?"
                          
We were in a dumpster truck and there is no way of getting out this thing till we reach the landfill site which is at least three hours away.
                          
Beau looked back at me intensely and I felt a tingle downstairs.
                          
He moved his long finger up my shoulder and under my chin.
                          
"You know, I made so much effort to look good for you and you end up kissing me when I have a banana skin on my head." he chuckles, shaking his head and I grin.
                          
He moves closer, "Well babe, we have some time to kill..."
                          
I grinned, catching on " Beau, I did not think that you could be so naughty..." 
                          
He winked at me and said "So my sexy girlfriend, how do you think those guys will feel if they see a horny couple making out in their truck...?"
                          
"I have no idea", I say with a smirk and straddle him.
                          
"Then let's find out..."
                          
And so we kissed and kissed and fell in love even more, he would have to go back to Australia eventually, but we would work it out, I know we will. So with that thought, I turned all my attention to my sexy boyfriend nibbling on my ear...

So that's it guys! This is the end of Look At Me Now. I can't believe that this has over 20,000 reads, my goal was actually ten thousand, so I have no one to thank but you awesome readers! I am sorry you guys had to wait so long for this chapter but I had loads of stuff to revise for and do. So thanks again. I might make a fun ending facts chapter later on...but once again, I hope you enjoyed the story and to be honest, I feel like I have developed as a writer through this novel.
