CHAPTER 1

                                    

                                              
"I love you" He said.
                          
I had been waiting so long for him to tell me that he loves me.
                          
"I love you too" I said.

Jack and I had been dating for four months and I was so in love with him but I also had feelings for someone else and that feeling was killing me.

                          
*THREE WEEKS AGO*
                          
"Woah, look who's here?!" Cameron said. I had been friends with Cam since we were 5 so he was like a brother to me" 
                          
"Yeah, I finally came!" I said while hugging him.
                          
"Where's Jack?" Matt asked
                          
"He has been out for a couple of days with his family" I explained to Matt. 
                          
"He'll be back on Sunday"
                          
Cam and I started walking to the room where everyone was drinking and dancing. I had never been drunk because with Jack I always had to stay sober to take care of him and drive back home but that night i was staying at Cam's so why not have a little fun.
                          
"Can I please have a drink?" I asked Cam
                          
"A coke as always?" Cam said.
                          
"No, I'll have fun tonight."

After drinking two or three glasses of whatever that shit that Cam gave me was, I was feeling the alcohol going through my veins.
                          
I left Cam and the other guys and I went upstair cause I needed to pee. 
                          
I went inside the bathroom and closed the door, that was a bad idea cause I couldn't find the light so I sat on the toilet hoping it wouldn't be that hard to find the toilet paper later. Suddenly the door opened.
                          
"What the he-" I screamed
                          
"So-sorry, I didn't kn-" He closed the door and I got up and washed my hands before going out.
                          
Shawn was sitting on the floor.
                          
"I-I'm sorry Kylie, I-I didn't know there was someone in the bathroom" 
                          
"It's ok Shawn... Just make sure to knock the door next time." 
                          
"Yeah, of course." 
                          
I went downstairs to meet with the guys when I saw Cam making out with a blonde girl.
                          
"That's my boy" I said laughing. 
                          
Cam was such an expert when it comes to girls. Cam was pretty busy at the moment so I went to Nash and Sam.
                          
"Hey Ky, I didn't see you! How's everything going?" Nash said
                          
I was pretty drunk so it was hard to understand what Nash was saying, specially when he talks that fast.
                          
"I- I'm fine" I said. Alchol was hitting me hard.
                          
"I like your shirt. Di-did you know I-I saw a u-unicord yesterday? Yeah, i-it was pretty cool" Nash said lauging like a little kid. He was drunk so anything he was saying made any sense.
                          
My body needed some food so I went to the kitchen to make myself a milkshake or something. 
                          
"Kiss me hard before you go... Summertime sadness..." I heard someone singing. 
                          
"Shawn what are you doing?" I said to Shawn who was lying on the floor singing some Lana Del Rey lyrics.
                          
"O-oh nothing... I was just singing... you know..." He said with his eyes closed. I had never seen him drunk before.
                          
"C'mon Shawn, get up." I said trying to lift him up and sitting him on a chair" 
                          
"I-I'm fine. I have to drive back home. My mum will be worried if I don't get there before 1 am" It was already 3 am
                          
"Shawn, you're not ok... You're drunk and you can't drive back home"
                          
"B-but my mum wi-" 
                          
"It's ok Shawn, I'll call her, you're staying here at Cam's and I'll drive you home tomorrow morning" 
                          
Before I could finish he had already fallen asleep on the table. I took his phone from his pocket and called his mum.
                          
"Hi Mrs Mendes, I'm Kylie, Shawn's friend. He just fell asleep on Cam's so he will be staying here tonight"
                          
"Ok, thank you Kylie for taking care of him. He's not a party person and alcohol really affects him" She said.
                          
Woah, I didn't even told her that Shawn was drunk, I guess mum's really know their childs.
                          
"Don't worry, he'll be ok. I'll drive him home tomorrow"
                          
"Thank you so much, you're a really great friend Kylie. I guess I'll see you tomorrow"
                          
"Yeah, good night Mrs Mendes" 
                          
"Good night" 
                          
I hung up and put the phone back on Shawn's pocket.
