I'm a coffee (and creamer) fueled writer who should probably get out more.

I write paranormal horror ~ and ~ professional writing how-to.

I have always loved everything about horror and the supernatural - but before I made the decision to focus on fiction, I used my newspaper experience to build a full-time freelancing business and I got to quit my 9-5 job to live my dream!

That success made me want to help others ~ people like me who had spent their whole lives fantasizing about being professional writers. But weren't.

So I launched PaidWrite - and set out to help my fellow dreamers build their own writing-centric businesses. 

I built a website stuffed with tools designed to walk new writers hand-in-hand from newbie to pro ~ and I add more content all the time. 

There's no shortage of writing jobs and publishing markets, either - because I constantly curate high-paying publications, markets, clients, and job listings and post them on the blog.

But there are many writing paths to self-employment (and I have a foot on most of them) so I also create amazing resources for bloggers, copywriters, content creators, niche-centric (and specialty) freelancers, and indie publishers.
