Each quarter, Marriott Hotels publishes their digital magazine Travel Brilliantly, which is consumed by 250,000 readers every single month.

This is YOUR CHANCE to be featured as a respected writer in this fall's Travel Brilliantly Intelligence issue! The winner will also receive a $500 Marriott Hotels gift card!

There are many kinds of intelligence—social intelligence, emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence—and Travel Brilliantly's Intelligence issue will explore them all. We wish for your short story to explore artificial intelligence, specifically, and we envision a story that taps into the intelligence of the future in a positive way. Think of how travel themes can be woven into your entry.

The theory and development of computer systems are able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.

Your challenge is to write an original short story under the following theme:

Imagine you are an entrepreneur in the near future and you have the help of a new artificial intelligence at your disposal. How you would use this AI to spark your next big venture that could possibly change the world! Tell us in a 500-1,000 word story!

Think: Positive advances in AI, intelligence in communication, work and how technological advancements will change the world.

Submission guidelines:

-This grand prize is only open to U.S residents

-If you're outside of the U.S., don't fret - even though you can't win the grand prize, you can still submit a story and Wattpad will give the one we like best a shoutout from the @Travel profile!

-Your story must be in English

-Think of how you can weave travel themes into your story!

-Your story must be between 500-1,000 words, with a firm maximum of 1,000 words - anything over that will be disqualified

-Stories must be tagged #TravelBrilliantly 

-Each prize-winning Entry will become the sole and exclusive property of Prize Provider,and Prize Winner will be required to transfer/assign their rights in such entry to Prize Provider
