Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to tell a story from the break room on board a Star Destroyer (Galactic Empire or First Order, the choice is entirely yours). Tell the story, in 1500 words or less. The winning entry, as judged by the Ambassadors working the starwarsfans profile, will feature in Tall Tales From the Cantina.

You can post your story as a one-shot or part of an existing collection. Only entries submitted via this form will be considered eligible for judging, however should you wish to share the link to your entry in the comments section, please feel free to do so! Also, tag your story #SWFChowTime because tags are always fun!
Our favourite entries will also feature on a Contest Winners Reading List, too. However, only those entries posted as one-shots are eligible for this. Story collections will not be considered for this reading list.
Entries must be written in English. Unfortunately, we have no other language capabilities at this time.
Whilst some leeway will be given, do your best to keep things PG-13.
Any entries submitted after July 31st will not be considered eligible.
